Uitgever Plaion en ontwikkelaar Evil Raptor hebben met de onderstaande trailer, de releasedatum aangekondigd van de actie platformer Akimbot. Ook krijgt Akimbot een tijdelijke gratis demo.
Vanaf 10 juni 2024 kunnen gamers een gedeelte van de game Akimbot gratis uitproberen door middel van de Steam Next Fest-demo. Deze demo is enkel beschikbaar op de PC. In de demo speel je het begin van de game waarbij je moet ontsnappen uit een gevangenis.
Akimbot is een sci-fi action adventure game wat zich afspeelt in een wereld waar alleen robots leven. Er zijn hier geen mensen te bekennen. In deze 3D platformer sta je in de schoenen van Exe, een outlaw robot met een trouwe sidekick. Jij gaat op avontuur wat begint met een ontsnapping uit de gevangenis om uiteindelijk Algorithm te redden.

De releasedatum is nu ook officieel bekendgemaakt. Akimbot staat gepland voor lancering op 29 augustus 2024 voor de PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S en de PC via Steam.
