Deze week nemen twee van de meest iconische game-personages het tegen elkaar op namelijk Mario tegen Sonic. Deze week komt er niet alleen een nieuwe 2D Mario-game uit, maar ook een gloednieuwe 2D Sonic-game. Sonic Superstars ligt vanaf vandaag in de winkelrekken en aanstaande vrijdag verschijnt de nieuwe Mario-game.
Om de lancering van Sonic Superstars te vieren, heeft uitgever SEGA de onderstaande kleurrijke launch trailer vrijgegeven. De trailer is in het Engels en in het Japans hieronder te vinden. Sonic, Tails, Knuckles en Amy nemen gaan op avontuur om Emerald powers te verzamelen waarmee de schurken Dr. Eggmen en Fang gestopt kunnen worden. Sonic Superstars is solo te spelen, maar ook met maximaal vier spelers in lokaal co-op.
