Afgelopen dag werd de jaarlijkse DICE Awards gehouden en de verhaalgedreven co-op-game It Takes Two werd hier gekozen als de beste game van 2021.
Eind december tijdens The Game Awards, won It Takes Two ook de prijs voor beste game van het jaar tijdens The Game Awards Show. Inmiddels is er ook een film over It Takes Two in productie.
