Gisteren ontplofte het internet doordat hacker Teapotuberhacker, meer dan 90 video’s van een pre alpha versie van GTA 6 lekte op de GTA forums.
Take-Two Interactive is inmiddels bezig het offline halen van tweets, YouTube video’s en zelfs GTA subreddit om de schade zoveel mogelijk te beperken.
De hacker Teapotuberhacker liet vandaag weer van zich horen. Hij zegt meer beelden in handen te hebben en dreigt deze te delen als Rockstar Games of Take-Two Interactive niet een bedrag van 5 cijfers aan hem overmaakt. Voor contact heeft hij een e-mail adres achtergelaten.
“Ok, so this has gone unexpectedly viral, woke up to 3000 Telegram DM’s. If you are an employee of Rockstar or Take 2 and you’re trying to contact me, send me a message containing 22559219889638875756 on Telegram or you can email me at teapotuberhacker@protonmail.com ** from your corporate email address ** I will try to read all these replies soon – I am looking to negotiate a deal.”
A person pretending to be a Rockstar/Take-Two employee managed to speak with the hacker.
He once again states he has source code and told him that the "IT team can check the logs" for proof.
