Ontwikkelaar CD Projekt Red heeft aangekondigd dat de free-to-play kaartgame Gwent: The Witcher Card Game vanaf 29 oktober 2019 speelbaar zal zijn op iOS-apparaten. De game zal volgens CD Projekt Red net zo goed zijn als de PC-versie, alleen werk je nu met touch controls. Verder is er cross-progression zodat je dus al je kaarten mee kan nemen van de PC-versie. De game zal werken op de Iphone 6S en hoger.
Later dit jaar komt Gwent: The Witcher Card Game ook uit op Android. Momenteel is de game speelbaar op de PC, PlayStation 4 en de Xbox one.
GWENT: The Witcher Card Game on iOS combines the full feature set of the PC version with controls re-imagined for the touch interface. Progress and purchases are shared between iOS and PC (using GOG account), so players can easily switch platforms anytime. Additionally, on the most powerful iOS devices, GWENT: The Witcher Card Game has built-in 4K textures.
Supported devices include iPhone 6S or newer (including iPhone 11), iPad Mini 4 and newer, iPad 5th generation and newer, iPad Air 2, and newer and all iPad Pro devices.
