Hello Games is al een lange tijd bezig met een nieuw project. Inhoudelijk weten we er nog niks over, maar oprichter van Hello Games Sean Murray liet wel weten, dat het project wat betreft ambitie te vergelijken is met No Man’s Sky.
Tijdens een gesprek met IGN vertelt Murray dat de nieuwe game geen vervolg op No Man’s Sky gaat zijn. Op het moment is het project zo groot in scope, dat het realiseren ervan zelfs met een team van 1000 man, onmogelijk lijkt.
“For a while now we’ve been working on something pretty ambitious in the background. It’s a small team but we like it that way. Similar to No Man’s Sky, it’s the kind of project that even if we had a thousand people working on it, it’d still seem impossible.”
No Man’s Sky fans hoeven zich geen zorgen te maken. Hello Games liet weten dat No Man’s Sky evenveel aandacht zal krijgen in de komende tijd zoals we dat gewend zijn van deze studio.
“No Man’s Sky is not being held back by the next project but neither is the new thing being slowed by No Man’s Sky. We’re lucky enough to be able to allow folks to move freely to work on what excites them.”
