Uitgever en ontwikkelaar Capcom meldt dat de game Resident Evil 3 Remake, inmiddels de mijlpaal van 5 miljoen verkochte exemplaren heeft weten te bereiken.
Resident Evil 3 Remake werd door fans en critici minder goed ontvangen dan Resident Evil 7, Resident Evil 2 Remake en de meest recente game Resident Evil Village.
Niet zozeer door de kwaliteit van de game, maar meer omdat deel 3 een beetje te kort was. Dat de game 5 miljoen verkochte exemplaren heeft weten te bereiken, is toch een succes.
Resident Evil 3 Remake verscheen in 2020 voor de PlayStation 4, Xbox One en de PC.
