Christopher Judge, de stem en motion capture acteur van Kratos uit God of War, heeft via een Twitter thread aangegeven dat hij de reden is geweest dat God of War: Ragnarok werd uitgesteld naar 2022.
Judge zegt dat hij in 2019 niet kon lopen wegens een operatie aan zijn rug. Daarnaast werden zijn heupen vervangen en kreeg hij een knieoperatie. Santa Monica Studio wilde wachten op een herstel van Judge en daardoor is God of War: Ragnarok uitgesteld naar 2022 in plaats van 2021. Judge zegt dat niemand binnen de studio boos was op hem. Hij prijst de manier waarop de ontwikkelaar met zijn situatie is omgegaan.
God of War: Ragnarok verschijnt in 2022 voor de PlayStation 4 en PlayStation 5.
