Nog enkele maanden geleden verscheen The Lord of the Rings: Adventure Card Game, maar nu laat de ontwikkelaar weten dat het haar deuren gaat sluiten. Ontwikkelaar Fantasy Flight Interactive, bekend van Fantasy Flight en de vrij recente The Lord of the Rings: Adventure Card Game.
Studio hoofd Tim Gerritsen laat het volgende weten:
It’s with great sadness that I have to report that the decision has been made to close Fantasy Flight Interactive next month. I’m proud of the team and the game we’ve dedicated ourselves to for the past few years. It’s a been an amazing journey with even more amazing people.
Tim Gerritsen laat verder weten dat hij zijn best doet om alle medewerkers in nieuwe posities te krijgen bij andere studio’s. The Lord of the Rings: Adventure Card Game zal ondersteund worden maar mogelijk zal dat nu gaan via licentiebedrijf Middle-earth Enterprises.
The Lord of the Rings: Adventure Card Game is beschikbaar op de PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch en PC.
